Sunday: 11/22/09--Day Two!

Good Morning!

I haven't eaten yet, but it looks like my step-dad is making cinnamon-rolls with bacon in them...TALK ABOUT HOW BAD THOSE ARE, taste wise and health wise. I might cave and have one or two. But that'll suffice as breakfast. I'm leaving to go get make-up at noon, so I'll probably be home around two or 1:30. That really depends. Which means I can have lunch LATER in the day, meaning, I won't have to snack :DDD We're running out of food, hahaha, so I might have cereal for lunch. Cereal with...I don't know yet, probably just cereal. Hey, food is food.

I honestly cannot wait until my mom goes to the grocery store. Because I'm making a list for her, a list of things I'll need. Like, yogurt, grapes, apples, bananas, granola bars, some sort of healthy cracker, and that's good.

But...I'll be honest, again. I KnOw, I kNoW I will just cave in many situations coming up. Like Thanksgiving. And my party. And my birthday dessert. And coffee with Liam. And ahhh, just soo many things. Below, I'll make some compromises:

Thanksgiving:

Instead of going for seconds...I won't. I'll take smaller portions of turkey, potatoes, stuffing, and only one roll. I mean, there is no real healthy way to eat on thanksgiving unless your family is vegan or something...

My Party:

I know no one will want to eat veggies and fruits. So I'll still have chips, cookies, and soda...BUT, once again, I'll limit myself. This whole thing needs to start with me being able to limit myself. I eat and eat and eat, but I need to learn to just eat. Before hand we are going to Seattle, which means that's where I'll eat lunch and maybe a snack. I should find a Subway or even if I am eating somewhere where there aren't many good foods, I should still get one of them, or eat only a little of what I get and save it.

Birthday Dessert:

We're going out for Gelato. That's healthy right? Well, it's better than ice cream, so I think I'll end up getting something fruity or vanilla...possibly vanilla.

Coffee with Liam:

Hm, buying coffee and being healthy is kind of hard. I might get rid of this and we can go out for lunch instead. I mean, coffee is just packed with calories. It sucks because it's soo good. Let's go out for Thai Food instead. That way I can have lunch and feel full instead of eating a ton of calories and my thirst was simply quenched.

OH YEAH! I was watching Tyra a while ago, and she was saying that there are enough calories in ONE Pop Tart to count as a full meal. WTF?! I used to eat PT all the time! And I wouldn't just eat one in the package, but I'd eat two. And sometimes I would have two packages a day. This was when I decided to look at the package. No joke, there is a bajillion calories in EACH of them. I won't say how many, look it up yourself, but really, it's amazing. I always thought they were good for you...even the low-fat ones.

Wow.
